Data is secured at the cell level using security filters and access control lists. MicroStrategy Web leverages SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt all web traffic. Security experts recommend that web servers should not have any database connectivity. Unlike our competitors, MicroStrategy Web does not have direct database connectivity.
